How do I shop online?

To start shopping, click on "shop" from the homepage or at the top of any other page on the site.

Click on a small thumbnail photo of a dress, and you’ll be taken to a style description page where you’ll see a large photo.

Choose your color and size, and click the "Add to cart" button. (If the style you selected is currently out of stock (backorder), you will be promtly notified and not charged. You may still order the dress, but please check with us to advise you of the next delivery date for your dress at bestbridesmaid@gmail.com.) you will then be taken to "Your Shopping Bag".

Your shopping bag is where you keep your selections until you’re ready to check out. To remove an item from your bag, check the item you want to remove and click the "Update" button. At any time, you may empty your shopping bag. If you want to add another item to your shopping bag, click the "Continue Shopping" button and you’ll be taken back to the "Shop" page.

When you’re ready to buy, click "Buy Now" or "Checkout" button. You will be taken to "Your Personal Info", a secure page where you will enter your personal information and credit card number. You will also see the contents of your shopping bag and the price of your purchase. You may modify your personal info at any time before proceeding. You must read and accept our Purchase Agreement before you can confirm your order. If all the information is correct, click on the "Checkout" button.  After filling in your info and credit card number, click on the "Checkout" button again.

Congratulations, you have completed the shopping process. Your purchase will be confirmed by email shortly. It's that easy.


What happens when I place an order online?

If you provided a valid e-mail address during the registration process, you will receive an e-mail message shortly after you make a purchase, confirming your online order, shipment method, and the total amount to be charged to your credit card.


Can I place an order by phone?

Sure! We’d be happy to take your order by phone. You can reach us at (512) 535-5859. Don't worry about ordering though. Our warehouse is still open and ready to ship.

Do you have any stores where I can try on a dress?

Right now our store is online only. We are planning a new store that will open in fall 2007.


Do you have a paper catalog?

Sorry, no paper catalogs at this time. You can view all our styles on our web site. We make our images as clear as possible to help in your decision making.


How do I see what’s in my shopping cart?

At any time, you may click on "view order" at the top of every page. Then, you may choose either "proceed to check-out" or "continue shopping".


How do I know what size to order?

To assist you in ordering the correct size, we have included a size charts on our site. Please take bust, waist and hip measurements and compare them to the chart to find the correct size. If your measurements fall in-between two sizes, we suggest that you choose the larger size, and have your own seamstress alter it according to your specific body measurements.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We alos accept Paypal and Google Checkout.


What about privacy?

Is it safe to order online?

Providing a secure environment for your order information is our top priority. Your credit card information is safe with us. Taking advantage of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, bestpromdresses.com ensures the security of your online transaction. SSL technology is the industry standard for encryption, and ensures a secure transaction environment for commerce on the Internet. Both Netscape and Internet Explorer indicate when you are connected to a secure server. What about returns and exchanges?

BestBridesmaid.com takes pride in the quality and value of our dresses. If you are not happy with your purchase you may return it to us if you meet all of the following conditions:

1. Item has not been worn and all original tags are in original condition incudling their attachment to item.

2. Item is in same condition it arrived at customer's address.

3. A return authorization (RA) is requested via email within 5 days of gown delivery.

4. Item is shipped at customers expense to BestBridesmaid, 1204 Baylor Street, Austin, TX 78703.

5. Customer agrees to pay a 20% restocking fee.

What are your shipping rates?

Standard Shipping is FREE (6-9 days) anywhere in the continental United States. You may upgrade your shipping option to one the following: 1-2 day shipping add $30.00; 2-3 day shipping add $20.00. Please note that delivery time starts only when the dress is ready to ship (In Stock). For International Shipping, additional fees must be added and we will notify you of all the costs involved.


Do you ship everywhere in the world?

Yes! When you place an International Order ( shipping to countries other than USA or Canada) we will then automatically add $40.00 US for shipping and handling. You will be responsible to pay for any taxes or custom duties payable in your own country when your dress arrives there. Most international orders will be shipped by USPS, FedEx, or UPS and may take 2-6 weeks to get to you depending on your location. You may also request a faster method at your expense.


How long will it take to get my order?

This depends entirely on the dress. Sometimes, the dress you select will be available within 24 hours (In Stock / not including weekends). However, in the event that the size or color you select is temporarily sold out, we can special order the dress from the manufacturer. Please check with us to advise you of the next delivery date for your dress at bestbridesmaid@gmail.com. How quickly you receive your order also depends on the shipping method that you select at the time of purchase and the destination.
